Veterinary Technician Assistant

Pioneer Veterinary Services is growing and looking to add a long-term Veterinarian Technician Assistant to our Olds location.

Our ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, have strong positive communication skills, excel in customer service and have high-quality patient care. The candidate must also be technically skilled and comfortable working with large and small animal services.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

• Providing quality patient care
• Assisting technologists and veterinarians
• Replenishing supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness in treatment areas
• Preparing and sanitizing the surgical suite
• Assisting clients and performing reception duties
• Handling clerical tasks
• Conducting nail trims
• Sterilizing and wrapping packs

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Veterinary Technician Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
