Dryden Veterinary Services is hiring!
Two New One Year Dryden & Sioux Lookout Intern Roles
Supporting the Development of RVTs in Northern Ontario.
For over 50 years, Dryden Veterinary Services DVS has been caring for animals across Northwestern Ontario. The demand for veterinary care is growing and DVS continues to respond with innovative solutions that meet the needs of northern clients. With a brand new facility scheduled to open this spring in Dryden, and a mobile Veterinary Technician clinic in
Sioux Lookout, the practice is growing and looking to support the training of more RVTs to keep up with demand.
"We recognize that many of our clients have to travel great distances to access care for their pets, and we aim to be part of creative solutions that make sense for the north." Greg
Springett, DVM, practice owner
These new roles were created to expand the number of trained Veterinary Technicians in
Northern Ontario to help address the shortage of veterinary professionals. The positions are open to new grads, current Veterinary Technician students, or interested students willing to study at an accredited program. The interns will study to meet the requirements to become licensed as an RVT, while developing their skills at the Dryden facility. One successful candidate will support an RVT in Sioux lookout part-time. There is a possibility of renewal for successful candidates.
