SalaryChinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full-time teaching position at Penhold Crossing Secondary School in Penhold, effective the first day of the 2023-2024 school year. Penhold Crossing Secondary School is a growing grade 7-12 school of approximately 400 students located 10 min south of Red Deer just off the QE 2 Highway in the town of Penhold, Alberta. The successful candidate will be a pedagogical leader who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of excellence in teaching at the secondary level, evidence of success in leading and encouraging professional learning, demonstrated abilities to work with a wide-range of community agencies, and a willingness to be involved in the extracurricular activities of the school. Administrative duties will include an active role in instructional leadership and all aspects of school leadership. Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a school-based administrator, and those who have completed or are working toward a Master’s degree in Education.
