Maymont Central School has around 140 students from Pre-K to grade 12 and a staff of 20. They are a collaborative learning community that strives for excellence. The team sets high expectations for all members and believes that although learning happens differently for everyone, all children can achieve greatness. Living Sky School Division's Principals use their unique position in the school and leadership skills to build capacity in school staff so that they may possess the skills and be empowered to make positive change to ensure effective schools, and ultimately, success for all students.
Our administrators core responsibilities include:
Providing leadership in LSKYSDs five leadership domains
Ensuring teaching and learning are the best they can be across the school.
Creating and assuring
an environment conducive to student learning and safety,
collegial dialogue,
high-quality teaching, staff development and
an effective alignment of resources with school goals.
General organization, administrations, and supervision of the school.
Balancing the responsibilities of being both managers and instructional leaders.
Our preferred candidate will have:
A Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate with a minimum five years of successful teaching experience
A Masters Degree in Education, or be committed to completing post-graduate studies in an applicable field. Living Sky School Division supports professional growth of their staff through a comprehensive bursary program

Training and/or experience implementing trauma informed practice within their school
