Job Summary:
Tell stories through video. As a Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with the company's brand and objectives. This role requires a combination of technical skills, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver compelling visual stories. The Videographer/Editor will collaborate with various teams to create engaging video content for different platforms, including social media, websites, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
- Plan, shoot, and edit videos for a variety of purposes, such as promotional content, tutorials, educational courses, interviews, and events.
- Different types of video editing required, high quality production-style, and story-style phone video.
- Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices.
- Edit raw footage to produce high-quality videos, ensuring seamless transitions, audio clarity, and visual appeal.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance video content.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and on-brand visual content.
Storytelling (the most important part of the job!)
- Develop and execute creative concepts to tell compelling stories through video.
- Ask questions to various audiences internally and externally
- Other duties as assigned
Technical Skills:
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies related to videography and editing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize video production processes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Keep an organized library of video assets for easy retrieval and repurposing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a videographer and video editor.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, and audio recording techniques.
- Creative thinking and storytelling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous work.
Education:
- A degree in film production, videography, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
