Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries about ingredients and preparation methods
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food to tables
- Monitor tables and promptly address any customer needs or requests
- Prepare and serve beverages, such as coffee, tea, and soft drinks
- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math for handling payments and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus
