Black Hills Estate Winery is situated on the scenic Black Sage Bench in Oliver, British Columbia and has been producing premium wine in this region since 1999. Known for the Nota Bene Bordeaux inspired blend, our focus is precise vineyard management, minimal intervention in the winery, and world class wine experiences offered to the thousands of visitors we see annually.
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator/Operator to join our team at the Winery on a contract basis. Reporting into the Estate Manger, the Warehouse Administrator/Operator will be responsible for coordinating all Direct to Consumer (DTC) shipments, inventory management, ensuring wine is supplied and transported to consumers and other warehouse locations, as well as supporting the Black Hills wine club shipments.
We are looking for a teammate with:

• Some previous business or customer service experience is an asset
• Certified as a Forklift operator, WHMIS
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
• The ability to work under pressure in very fast paced environment
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and moving wine boxes/cases
• Proficient use of computer; intermediate level of proficiency with spreadsheets, word-processing software

This teammate will be accountable for:

• Coordinating all DTC wine shipments; receive and process wine and stock products
• Assisting with loading and off-loading wine and other warehouse supplies using a forklift
• Maintain stock levels in store and warehouse; maintaining accurate records of stock movement; tracking & counting inventory
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
