Position: Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator
We are seeking a Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator to support ANDA Medical (a subdivision of OSIS Medical) that specializes in distribution of medical products and devices. This position is a full-time employment opportunity located in our Oshawa-based office and will be reporting to the Office Manager. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented personnel to join our dynamic team and contribute to the efficient operations of our Health Canada regulated medical device company.
Responsibilities:
- Process sale order activities of, order entries, picking, packing, and shipping of medical products and medical equipment ensuring accurate fulfillment and logistics support for on time deliveries.
- Operate the forklift and reach trucks in a safe manner when moving or lifting shipments.
- Must be able to drive commercial vehicles (ex. 26ft truck) and coordinate and conduct the delivery and pickup of medical equipment.
- Interface with carriers, freight forwarders, and couriers to schedule deliveries.
- Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments and mitigate shipment related issues with vendors and customs brokers.
- Crate and prepare pallet shipments.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting.
- Control and manage inventory storage, labelling and tracking using inventory software.
- Perform inventory cycle counts.
- Support Customer Service team with inventory availability, allocation, and prioritization of order placement and fulfillment activities.
- Perform other tasks to support the operations and sales team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in operating a commercial vehicle.
- Forklift certification.
- High school diploma
- Shipping/receiving: 1 years.
- Logistics, warehouse, or inventory experience of 1 year.
- Working knowledge of computers and MS office.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
