Core Purpose and Essence of the Position:
The Warehouse Operator plays an important role in all the warehouse functions starting from inflow of the products until the time products leaves the warehouse to ensure a smooth transition. Functions include, Unloading, Receiving, Replenishment, Put away, Picking, Labeling, Counting, Packing, Shipping and Loading.
WORK SHIFT:
- Monday to Friday Morning Shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Offloading floor loaded containers where repeatedly lifting product up to 60lbs
- Sorting and building pallets based on purchase orders on the inbound manifest
- Receiving the products into the warehouse, checking vendor name and purchase order number from the WMS.
- Audit completed pallets by verifying carton count and purchase order
- Ensure pallets are wrapped in a safe manner for transport
- Follow and maintain a safe work environment which also includes housekeeping
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate RF Scanners as needed.
- The ability to follow directions is extremely important.
- Internally motivated, self-starter with ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results.
- A positive work attitude and the ability to work within a team environment.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Mobility and lifting in accordance with OHSA regulations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
