Job Description
The Warehouse Associate works very closely with the Warehouse team to ensure that incoming and outgoing customer repairs and shipments are handled quickly and with minimal errors.
Job Duties
-Pick pack and manifest customer sales and repair orders the same day the pick ticket MAR is printed Prepare shipping documents BOLs for international shipments to and from the U.S.
-Unpack repack and put away CSA inspected products Load and unload trucks.
-Maintain accuracy of rack specific inventory.
-Accurately process various transactions utilizing warehouse management systems as necessary.
-Monitor product quality and report any problems to Warehouse management.
-Maintain an acceptable level of productivity and maintain an accurate log of activity.
-If certified drive forklift truck for the purpose of loading and unloading goods to put away and replenish goods and to pick and pack goods.
-Operate other warehouse equipment as necessary.
-Monitor shipping receiving supplies and notify Warehouse Administrator when low.
-Back up for conducting cycle counts notes and documents discrepancies and informs management of the same.
-Back up receiving and refurbishing as required.
-Adhere to all policies and procedures.
-Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
-Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualification
Required:
-High school diploma or equivalent is required.
-A minimum of one-year related experience in an electronic shipping environment is required preferably in the medical device or similar industry.
 
Preferred:
-Basic math skills.
-Experienced in driving forklifts an asset.
-Experience with JDE or SAP an asset.
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Must be familiar with and able to utilize material handling equipment Must be computer literate and familiar with inventory control procedures in an ERP environment
-Demonstrate skills in disassembly, assembly, repair, quality inspection or equivalent in precision repair activity while meeting productivity and quality key performance indicators required.
-Sufficient manual dexterity with small hand tools (such as screwdrivers, electric screwdrivers, pliers, or tweezers) and experience with test equipment (such as light sources, video processors, mega ohm testers) and hand soldering to make repairs and facilitate disassembly and reassembly required.
-Ability to complete required technical training and demonstrate knowledge and skills acquired in periodic testing and inspection of work performed required.
