WAREHOUSE PRODUCTION KIT BUILDER
This position will assist with production, by building kits for customer requirements. There will be a requirement to assist in general production of Kits for FSTs, Dealers and OEMs. The role prioritizes attention to detail, ensuring the very highest of quality standards are met and a philosophy and ambition to exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Enter production data into Excel to run order and schedule production.
- Accurately and efficiently produce production items with zero defect to meet demand.
- Manage and maintain the kits to be built for all FSTs, Dealers and OEMs to ensure they have all their needs met to install as per company installation standards
- Ability to read and follow drawings and schematics
- Communicate all inventory usage, ensuring accuracy of what is on hand at all times and the COGS is distributed accurately as used.
- Work collaboratively with other team members.
- Responsible for the tidiness of the production area and contributing to the efficient operation of the warehouse.
- Responsible for shop tools and ensuring good working order.
- Basic understanding of inventory software; to look up inventory and understand the count process.
- Print and examine Blueprints for accuracy and assemble parts to blueprints
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Skills and Job Qualifications
- High school Diploma
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
- Math: Basic math is needed for counting and calculations.
- Mechanical/Technical Skills: Assemblers need to be able to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and work with computers, tools and general production equipment
- Stamina: Assemblers are on their feet for long periods of time often doing repetitious motions.
- Color Vision: Assemblers will need to be able to identify different color wires, tabs and electronic components in order to put them together correctly.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, word, excel etc..
- Forklift certified preferred
