Job Description
Drexel is looking for energetic, motivated, and experienced Shipper to join our warehouse team. The main reporting facility is located at 100 Kellogg Lane in London, Ontario, with two other facilities in the city.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisors, the Shipper will be working closely with the rest of our Operations Team. The primary responsibilities include loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products for our customers.

What you do in this role?
- Pick, pack, and ship orders and shipments to retail customers (B2B) and distribution centres.
- Ensure all customer requirements, guidelines, SLA’s, and KPI’s are met regarding on time delivery, packing, labeling, and routing.
- Coordinate and organize appointments, routing, transportation, and schedules using online portals, email, or phone as needed.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, carriers, and vendors.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments, including tracking and logging, and generate reports for Case pack, UPC, Serial Number, GTIN.
- Generate and audit shipping documents as required, including BOL, Commercial Invoice, Labels, etc.
- Manage dock traffic and load and unload containers and trucks.
- Use Microsoft Dynamics NAV, 3PL Central, and carrier websites as needed.
- Investigate and reconcile shipping and inventory discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and ship for B2C customers as required.
- Participate in warehouse safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Fill in other roles to support the Operations team upon request.
- Other duties as required.
What you need to be successful?
- 3+ years of experience in shipping to or working with major Canadian Retail Distribution centres (e.g., Walmart, Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Home Hardware, Loblaws, Hudson’s Bay, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience operating Reach and Counterbalance
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Previous experience with inventory and cycle counting is an asset.
- Great customer service attitude
- Ability to work both individually and as a team
- Successful background check (including criminal history, reference, etc.)
- Proper PPE: Steel toed shoes.
