THE ROLE
The Warehouse Porter is responsible for receiving, storing, and delivering product to different outlets within the stadium.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for storing and rotating all incoming supplies and assembling outgoing orders.
- Responsible for accurate storage and rotation of all products in warehouse and designated areas.
- Assemble orders in accordance with requisitions received from various outlets.
- Receive and verify all incoming products and place them in their designated locations.
- Complete spot checks on each delivery to ensure product that is being delivered meets Legends Hospitality’s quality standards.
- Weigh and verify that proteins match invoice, discrepancies must be noted on the invoice and communicated discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
- Spot check temperatures of frozen and refrigerated deliveries.
- Assist in the receiving and distribution of products as required.
- Responsible for maintenance of various components of the warehouse and it’s equipment.
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner and work in compliance with Legends Hospitality’s safety standards.
- Responsible for monitoring inventory levels.
- Assist in taking inventory.
- Alert supervisor of any discrepancies that may occur in the product supplies.
- Responsible for keeping the Warehouse, fridges and freezers clean and tidy.
- All other duties as assigned by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Forklift and electric low rider transporter certification
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
- Comfortable working in refrigeration/freezer environments with some frequency.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
