Warehouse Associate/Delivery Truck Driver

We are currently hiring a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Truck Driver at our Grand Falls-Windsor, NL location. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities:

-Comply with policies and procedures regarding health and safety

-Provide outstanding customer service

-Accurately pick customer orders

-Assist customers with selection and loading of building materials

-Safely operate a forklift

-Unpack and put away stock and organize within the appropriate storage areas

-Load trucks for delivery

-Inspect delivery truck before starting deliveries to ensure the truck is in proper working condition

-Complete deliveries

-Assist in keeping the warehouse and yard clean, tidy and safe

-Other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors

Ideal Candidate:

-Adheres to work safety rules and regulations at all times

-Has a customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional customer service

-Has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

-Is detail oriented and able to maintain high standards of accuracy

-Has completed forklift training (otherwise, training will be provided)

-Is able to work in a physically demanding environment and in variable weather conditions

-Has knowledge of building materials
