Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for driven, career motivated and customer service oriented individuals to join our overnight shift at our Distribution Center Team located at 7550 Tranmere Drive, Mississauga, ON.

Shift Types:

Overnight Shift (Sunday-Thursday)

• 9:00 pm - 5:30 am

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator is responsible for providing customer service excellence; supporting a busy 24/5 Distribution Center in all facets of Warehouse Operations, as required by the Desco team.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of day-to-day warehouse functions including:

• Verification and stocking of materials into inventory
• Cycle counting and replenishment
• Returned goods processing
• Picking, packing, staging and validation of prepared orders
• Receiving incoming shipments
• Assisting with shipping and vehicle loading
• Maintaining H&S and housekeeping standards

What You Offer:

• Minimum 1 year of Forklift Experience (Raymond Reach), externally certified
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred
• Strong communication skills; with a customer service orientation
• Positive attitude; with a keen interest in learning our business
• Self-motivated with a keen ability to work independently and contribute to company success
• Excellent organizational and critical thinking ability
• Detail oriented
