Warehouse Inbound Associate In Victoria

Role Responsibilities

This position is responsible for ensuring that incoming product stock is properly handled and efficiently received.

• Primary function is to receive stock in the building using preferred work methods
• Handle stock carefully and properly to avoid damages
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• To ensure accurate reporting of incoming stock
• Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally
• To display positive work ethic and behaviour
• To handle product effectively in a timely fashion
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) comprising Sysco’s Food Safety Program, specific for the assigned role.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by two (2) years shipping, receiving, general warehouse or related.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Teamwork, communication skills, reading, numeracy, attention to detail, decision making, ability to work in a safe manner.

Position details:

• Day shift schedule is Monday to Friday, including Statutory Holiday with weekend work as required. Work schedule may change based on business needs; overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $26.57-$31.80 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
