Job Description:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, in the Warehouse Inventory Coordinator role you will be responsible for managing inventory control and purchasing. We are looking for someone with organizational ability and who takes ownership.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a well-organized inventory of parts and supplies to efficiently support the company
• Place purchase orders, process purchase requests and source parts as required
• Maintain a structured system of shipping and receiving
• Ensure a high quality, friendly and cooperative relationship with other mountain departments
• Ensure that all pick-ups and deliveries are transferred to the correct departments with proper documentation
• Foster and maintain strong supplier contacts and relationships
• Safe operation of company vehicles adhering to the transportation policy
• Safe transportation of dangerous goods (training provided)
• Maintain security of the delivery vehicle and its contents
• Assist with loading and unloading freight, and on-site deliveries
• Ensure timely and accurate pickup and delivery of all freight
• Monitor all returns to the Parts Room

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license Class 5 (with abstract provided)
• Adhere to Occupation Health and Safety standards
• Must possess accurate verbal and written communication skills
• Good physical condition as this position requires some heavy lifting, standing for long periods
• Able to work supervised & unsupervised
• A police background check, from your home country or province, will be required upon commencement of employment

Qualifications:

• Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain management is an asset
• Experience in a warehouse or in shipping/receiving preferred
• Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Experience with Maximo or SAP Concur is an asset
• Transport of Dangerous Goods certification is an asset
• Telehandler operator certification is an asset
• First aid certification is an asset
