Our DC is looking for Warehouse Packers to join our team! As the Warehouse Packer, you will be responsible for the quality control and shipping of all carrier orders. You will facilitate the full process of packing and shipping orders from our DC. You will be responsible for shipping the sales order according to the guidelines which the Warehouse Management System (WMS) has outlined while also verifying the correct box size and weight.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm or 3:30pm - 12:00am

What you'll be doing:

• Measuring, weighing cartons and counting products associated with sales order verifying pack slip).
• Applying appropriate content labels (SPS Commerce).
• Shipping all conveyor packages – knowledge of UPS, Canada Post, FedEx.
• Opportunity to learn different software as well as become skilled in different departments.

What you bring to the team:

• Good communication, strong reading skills, as well as comprehension.
• The ability to troubleshoot minor issues and ask questions about larger problems.
• Strong team member (ability to work well with others and change tasks to help the team).
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
• Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or other inventory handling environment would be an asset.

Le service des expéditions est à la recherche de membres d’équipe solides pour devenir emballeur. Un emballeur est responsable du contrôle de la qualité et de l’expédition de toutes les commandes des transporteurs. Ce poste se concentre sur l’emballage et l’expédition des colis de manière efficace et efficiente. Il est impératif de maintenir la vitesse tout en s’assurant que tous les produits associés à la commande sont emballés correctement et en toute sécurité. L’emballeur est chargé d’expédier la commande conformément aux directives du système de gestion d’entrepôt (WMS), tout en vérifiant que la taille et le poids de la boîte sont corrects.

Fonctions essentielles: Les fonctions et responsabilités essentielles de ce poste incluent, mais ne sont pas limitées à:

• Mesurer, peser les cartons et compter les produits associés aux commandes de vente (vérification du bordereau d’expédition).
• Apposer les étiquettes de contenu appropriées (SPS Commerce).
• Expédition de tous les colis des transporteurs – connaissance d’UPS, de Postes Canada et de FedEx.
• Possibilité d’apprendre différents logiciels et d’acquérir des compétences dans différents départements.

En outre, le candidat idéal devra:

• Bonne communication, fortes capacités de lecture et de compréhension.
• Capacité à résoudre des problèmes mineurs et à poser des questions sur des problèmes plus importants.
• Solide esprit d’équipe (capacité à travailler avec les autres et à changer de tâches pour aider l’équipe).
• Maîtrise de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
• Une expérience préalable dans le domaine de la distribution, de l’entreposage ou d’un autre environnement de gestion des stocks serait un atout.

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
