Reporting to the Shop Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the efficient movement of materials through our shop facility.  This includes shipping/receiving of products, material coordination on the shop floor, picking products from stock and packaging/tagging requirements for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
-Work in a safe manner, lead by example and contribute to overall company safety
-Work with the Shop Team to prepare orders for technicians including picking parts, assembling work packages, preparing materials, and staging components for fabrication, machining, and assembly
-Collaborate with the Shop Manager and Shop Administration team to facilitate the flow of products through the facility
-Material Management, staging, storage and control
-Inventory Management, perform daily cycle counts
-Contribute to continuously improving processes and procedures in a proactive manner
-Document incoming repair components and initiate the repair process
-Coordinate and facilitate the shipment of components to subcontractors for outsourced work
-Identify all product that requires special packaging, and coordinate with administration team to have appropriate custom crates/pallets fabricated
-Prepare completed repairs for shipment back to customers including completing documentation, taking pictures, ensuring required packaging is present and all required quality actions have been completed
-Digital storage of documents and pictures within an electronic filing system
-Tagging received components and transferring product to the required location
-Contribute to ensuring all day-to-day activities required to maintain operations are completed including general housekeeping and scrap disposal
-Accurately track and log daily time to service and production orders
-Create orders in SAP for customer-owned product
-Other shop coordination duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
-2+ years experience working in a shop service environment
-Experience with MRP systems (SAP preferred)
-Strong proficiency in working with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Ability to prioritize and number of tasks and complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines
-Organized, attention to detail
-Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, as well as internal and external customers
-Desire to develop a career, advance with the company and maintain long-term employment
