The Warehousing Assistant will report to the Logistics Group Lead and assist the Warehouse and Stores team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Warehouse
Deliveries to and from the hangars several times a day (9, 11, 1, 2:30) as required
Mail run (12:30 building 160)
Counting inventory assistance
Assist in the performance of warehouse and stores activities
Warehouse 5S (Sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain)
Operate mobile handling equipment (pallet Jack, hand carts)
Assist in summer cleaning
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Education and Experience
Proof of registration in a post-secondary educational institution in the fall semester 2024.
Other Required Training or Skills
Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines
Ability to manage several tasks at once and set priorities, willing and able to work in a constantly changing environment
Ability to recognize opportunities and suggest ideas to Project manager and customers as needed.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suit (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is required.
Experience in JIRA will be considered an asset (Project management tool).
Candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations
