Position Summary
The Warehouse Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Associate role is responsible for driving compliance of service center processes by maintaining accuracy and reconciliation of all material within the warehouse. This position will audit all inbound and outbound processes to maintain inventory accuracy. This position will drive the daily cycle count execution, discrepancy investigation, and perform inventory adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Assists Cycle Count Program at the Service Center- setting schedule, overseeing counts, researching discrepancies, implementing countermeasures, and tracking accuracy metrics over time.
- Assists Operations team and Lead to develop action steps to minimize inventory discrepancies and make recommendations on programs to improve inventory management.
- Lead material quality assurance by implementing and controlling audit/reporting process.
- Audit inbound & outbound processes and create detailed reports of any deficiencies found in the shipments including defects and load quality compliance and applying corrections to discrepancies as required.
- Responsible for consolidation and location replenishment as required.
- Perform item audits for count accuracy and product quality.
- Ability to learn operations within the warehouse for all around knowledge and labor share opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- 2 years inventory and quality experience in a warehouse/distribution center or similar operation
- Ability to provide direction, implement ideas, and adapt to changing business environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with team and cross functionally
- Experience with computer business systems, such as Excel, Outlook, ERP Systems
- Ability to use various forklifts and stock-handling equipment
