Warehouse Worker (Picker/Packer)

We are currently looking for reliable and self-directed team player for the Warehouse Worker role. This position is responsible for performing several duties that generally focus on preparing packages for shipment and pulling inventory for orders in the warehouse. Reach truck driving experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for filling customer orders using a pick list and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards;
• Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves and ensures the completeness and correctness of all orders filled;
• Packages materials and products manually;
• Performs basic quality control checks which may include measuring, weighing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance;
• Use computer to find inventory, print order details and shipping labels and affix them on the right orders;
• Folds and tapes boxes, applies labels/tags, and stacks boxes on pallets according to direction.

QUALIFICATION

• 1+ years warehouse experience required,
• Reach truck experience is preferred; training can be provided but individual must be willing to drive it
• High school diploma;
• ERP experience an asset;
• Safety Oriented;
• Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs safely and comfortably;
• Experience in using RF Scanner;
• Outstanding attendance and punctuality are must;
• Strong communication and organizational skills;
• Detail-oriented and transactional accuracy are must;
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles would be considered an asset;
• Dangerous Goods qualification would be considered an asset;
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment;
• Able to work effectively in a team environment and self-motivated.
