Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator (Overnights)

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator is responsible for selecting and moving product in the warehouse and building customer’s orders, and other duties as required. This position is physically demanding and involves standing for long periods of time and heavy lifting (up to 20kg). Forklift certification on Reach Truck and Electric Pallet Jack are an asset. We currently have overnight openings (11pm-7am).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order picking to build customer’s orders by following detailed invoices
• Work predominantly in the freezer (-18C) section of the warehouse
• Demonstrate a safety-first attitude and follow all safety policies and practices
• Work as a team and assist with other duties as required
• Represent Snow Cap professionally and demonstrate good customer service skills

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in a Warehouse setting picking orders is required
• Forklift certification on Reach Truck and Electric Pallet Jack is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with full proficiency in the English language
• Must be able to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to assist customers & co-workers in a professional manner
• Must have the ability to work as part of a team
• Able to perform repetitive lifting if up to 20kg
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time

$26 to start, commensurate on experience. The wage is reviewed monthly after the 90 day probationary period and increases until the maximum for the shift has been reached.

Salary: $26.00-$31.25 per hour
