Description
Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine daily warehouse functions such as:
-Issuing materials from various warehouse facilities
-Shipping and receiving
-Inventory cycle counts and data entry
-Loading and off-loading of all general freight
-Using a handheld device and reporting in Excel
-Other general warehouse duties as assigned
This is a 6-month temporary position
Requirements of the position:
-Grade 12 education or equivalent
-A minimum of five years of related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment, experience in processes such as job kitting, cycle counting and MRP review
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
-Advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and an ERP system (SAP preferred)
-Forklift and loader operator certification
-Valid Class 5 drivers license
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Experience using a handheld device to perform daily warehouse activities
-Must work a rotational work schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
-Experience working with SAP
-Previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods
