Warehouse/Service Employee

Trillium HR is working with a client in the electrical supply and PPE space who are looking for a Warehouse/Serviceemployee to help in their Ajax office.
You will provide services to customers: including fit testing, DOP (Dispersed Oil Particulate) testing, and inspection of fall protection devices.
Must have a G-license with a clear driver’s abstract
Preference will be given to candidates who have some background in repairing equipment,
Technical experience and some electrical experience would be an asset.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.

Job Title: Warehouse/Service employee
Work Location: Ajax, Ontario
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift Timings: Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)

Job Description/Requirement:

• pick, pack, and shipping of transfers/products
• general warehouse duties
• able to lift 50 lbs.
• ability to work without supervision
• attention to detail
• receiving/shipping of product on Purolator system and on ERP system
• ability to drive forklift – previous experience necessary
• provide services to customers: including it testing, DOP testing, inspection of fall protection, etc. (training to be provided
• must have Steel toe safety shoes

EDUCATION: High School Degree or Equivalent

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Warehouse – Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally well-ventilated and well lit. Warehouse employees may be exposed to all kinds of weather and may be required to wear protective clothing. Operates heavy equipment. Strict safety regulations may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is physically strenuous, and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds. Employees are required to use hand tools.
