We are looking for a Wash Plant Operator at our Grey-Bruce location.
Primary Responsibilities
As the Wash Plant Operator, you’ll assist our primary operators in the operation, maintenance and repair of our Wash Plant. Your duties would include the operation and routine maintenance of heavy equipment, assisting with the operation, maintenance and repair of Wash Plant equipment, clean-up and other duties, as necessary.
Although this is considered an entry-level position, any level of previous training and experience will be considered.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent leadership skills
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Welder/welding experience is an asset
- Common core training is an asset
- Previous experience in an Asphalt, Aggregate, Ready-Mix or Roadbuilding industry setting would be an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in varying types of weather
- Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
