2 ‑ Part Time ‑ Washers
Laundry

This position has no set schedule, casual call‑ins

This position will involve working the day, weekend shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a guarantee.

The Washer participates as a member of the Laundry/Linen team and understands the role of all members of the
team. The incumbent will have the maturity required to work effectively with all levels of staff and participate in a
structured approach of problem solving.

Qualifications:
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English at a level required to perform the duties of the job
* Previous experience in a laundry facility with knowledge of washing procedures and the laundry process is required
* Must have the ability to function independently, seeking help and guidance as required
* Must have good interpersonal and problem solving skills are essential
* Must be able to perform heavy, physical, repetitive work with a moderate amount of heavy lifting
* Must be able to handle and change 45 gallon chemical drums as well as tolerate exposure to offensive odours and
infectious linen

Salary Range: $24.986 to 25.887
