Your responsibilities will include:

• Participates in shift changes with the operator he is replacing, to keep abreast of circuit conditions and current needs;
• Keep abreast of physical and process modifications to his circuit.

• Carry out required tours of the circuit to detect process anomalies and report defective equipment by completing work orders in detail;
• Plan and oversee equipment preventive maintenance;
• Participate in planned plant shutdowns.
• Ensure that levels measured in sedimentation and polishing basins comply with operating instructions;
• Read flow meters, level gauges and other recording devices to measure water flow and consumption levels.
• Plan chemical orders for proper plant treatment;
• Participate in the drafting of incident and accident reports concerning himself or involving equipment for which he is responsible;
• Complete operating reports and compile statistics.

What we are looking for:

• Observational and analytical skills;
• Rigorous, logical, organized ;
• Experience with work order management systems;
• OW-1, OW-2, OW-3 certification (asset);
• Training (AEP, DEP, AEC, DEC) in water management, or any other relevant field.
