Wave Planner

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planner to join our team. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing our production processes. You will work closely with various departments to ensure efficient material flow and meet production targets. If you have experience in supply chain management and possess strong analytical skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the area where the orders are dropped by pickers
• Handle Tecsys Elite systems and 6RS systems to retrieve information concerning the orders on the floor
• Consolidate orders as necessary, moving them from the staging area where the pickers dropped them into a consolidation area where the orders will be shipped from
• Auditing orders to ensure picking is correct
• Report any issues noted with orders
• Participate in capacity planning activities to optimize resource utilization
• Communicate production status and any potential delays or issues to relevant stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
