Qualifications:
Essential:

  • Post-secondary education in the field of information systems, computer science, web development, or an equivalent combination of formal education, training and related experience may be considered.
  • Experience in web design and development.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Extensive experience in using Dreamweaver, SharePoint and other relevant web development tools.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders and project teams to design, develop and implement technology solutions.
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and training junior level web developers.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to respond to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
Desired:
  • Experience with SEO best practices and web accessibility standards (WCAG).

Duties:
The Web Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting all aspects related to the development, maintenance, and support of internal and external websites and SharePoint sites for Manitoba Justice. This requires a high degree of initiative and responsibility in the establishment and communication of policies and practices for the websites.
