Our expectations

Reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce, the Web Designer will be a key part of the E-Commerce team. They will act as an advisor within the team on web design best practices and create designs to modify and optimize the site’s category pages.

Your role

• Participate in category revamp projects to optimize our content
• Recommend UX and design best practices in the creation of wireframes
• Design layouts for new and existing pages using existing components
• Turn wireframes and conversations into design mock-ups that will later be implemented by our integrator
• Help elaborate the visual direction of a project to shape and position ideas for customer impact
• Utilize web design best practices to optimize website usability and conversions
• Apply visual design feedback from multiple stakeholders
• Work closely with the Online team, our integrator, and the studio team
• Design while keeping in mind the overall customer journey

The qualifications we are looking for

• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, in an e-commerce retail environment (an asset)
• Knowledge of Figma
• Good knowledge of visual and sensory systems design
• Good interaction with web and mobile design system
• Ability to follow design process and specifications documentation
• Good knowledge of UX web design best practices
• Knowledge of web accessibility
• Ability to create component-based design development
• Autonomy and good team player
