Position summary:

Reporting to the Environmental Coordinator and Weed Containment Tech Lead, you will be
responsible for the identification, control of invasive weeds, and general maintenance work at the
Waterton Gas Plant and Field.
Key responsibilities:
- Participation in Pieridae Energy’s safety programs and daily permitting requirements.
- Identification, control, and removal of invasive plant species throughout the Pieridae
- Liaison with Pieridae operations, landowners, and stakeholders in mitigating invasive species
- Complete general maintenance activities at the Waterton plant and field as required.
Education and work experience (minimum requirements):
- Must be enrolled in Post Secondary Education.
- 5th Class driver’s license required.
- Current Certification in HS alive, First Aid, WHIMIS, TDG (can be acquired after start);
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older as of May 6, 04.
