What we’ll love about you:

• Certified CWB Welding Supervisor is an asset.
• 5 years of industrial experience, with MIG Welding and overhead crane operation
• 3 years of progressive experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong Knowledge of general metal fabrication technical processes, equipment, and workflows.
• Experience with welding symbols, diagrams, and reading blueprints
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the set up and operation of welding machines
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact across all levels of the organization
• Must be safety conscious and adhere to safety processes and policies
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

What you’ll work on:

As a Welding and Fitting Supervisor at Steelcon, you will be responsible for monitoring workers on the proper techniques, details of materials, equipment, and fabrication techniques ensuring Welders obtain maximum productivity.

Shift:

We are actively hiring for the Afternoon shift, working 44 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday 5:15 pm-5:00 am, no shift Friday

Skills and experience in:

Fabrication, weld quality, welding manufacturing supervisor, welder/fitter supervisor, welding supervisor, GTAW, MIG, Stick, MIG, TIG, good dexterity, attention to detail, organizational skills.
