Welding Assistant/ Apprentice Urgently Required

Are you looking to learn the welding trade rather than just being a welder? Would you like to work towards running your own welding shop or work towards taking over an existing shop?

We seek a motivated Welding Assistant/apprentice to assist within a custom welding shop that wants to learn and advance as a skilled tradesperson. You will never be bored as we tackle a wide variety of jobs and you will always be challenged to grow and develop your skills due to the diversity of our tasks to perform.

Ability to operate all weld related equipment and to follow verbal and written instructions..

We perform repairs or builds from ferrous and non ferrous metals.

Ability to work independently and adapt to an ever changing pace.

Most work is in shop with some mobile services provided.

Transportation is required.

This job location is 10 minutes south of Parry Sound by HWY 141.

The pay rate is dependent on experience and ability

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
