Open Windows Inc. is hiring Window and Door Installers!
Open Windows Inc. is a European-style and aluminum and vinyl door and window company located in Richmond BC. We are looking for seven (7) permanent, full-time, experienced Window and Door Installers (NOC 73200) to join our team. Our mission is to be devoted to our customers, providing quality products and integrity in our service. We strive to provide the best customer service and are looking to add experienced Window and Door Installers to our team.
Window and Door Installers are required to perform the following duties:
1) Read blueprints and work order specifications to determine layout.
2) Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installation.
3) Perform installation of aluminum and vinyl tilt and turn and casement windows and French folding, lift and slide, tilt, aluminum curtain walls and Doors.
4) Make adjustments and repairs of aluminum and vinyl windows, doors, and curtain walls.
5) Perform hardware installation and repair on all above products.
6) Have multi-tasking abilities, organizational skills and be detail oriented.
The qualified candidate must have:
- Secondary school education or higher.
- Minimum one (1) year of window, door, and curtain wall installation experience as described above.
- Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Positions available: 7
We offer:
Full-time (40 hours per week), Permanent
Wage of $28.00 per hour
Overtime pay: 1.5 times
5 Sick days per year
Location of work: Predominately Lower Mainland but does include sites throughout BC.
