Commisso Estate Winery in Grimsby is currently seeking outgoing brand ambassadors to represent our wines and conduct educational wine tasting, tours, special event pairings and sales.

Responsible for engaging in discussion with customers and providing key details about products and merchandise.

Position Responsibilities:

• Make suggestions and recommendations regarding wine and food pairings.
• Actively engage and enhance customers’ experience through education & product samplings.
• Assist with creative content for Wine club Mailings,
• Work as part of a close knit team to look after our guests
• Ongoing learning about wine, wine-making and the tourism market in Niagara.

Qualifications:

• Smart Serve Certification
• Bartender/Server experience (an asset)
• Neat in appearance
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills to build customer relations
• Wine tasting experience (an asset)
• Must be of legal drinking age
• Physically fit to meet the position’s requirements - standing for long periods, lifting up-to 40lbs (case of wine)

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
