Winter and Spring Labourer

Scott's Quality Lawn Care is looking for an exceptional individual to fill the very important position of a Residential Snow Removal Labourer for the remainder of the season. If we are happy with your performance, we are also looking for one individual to fill a position on our spray crew at least until the end of May. If you are exceptional, employment could be long term. For the winter (or spring) portion of this job you and your crew leader will be responsible for approximately 35-40 residential customers. You must be available everyday if it happens to snow. More details on the April/May work can be discussed in an interview.

The Snow Removal portion of this job description is as follows:

Although the job says full time, hours will be solely based on snowfall. You will work when it snows. With that said, it is not unusual to not work at all in a week and then work a full 40 hours the next week. 20 hours per week tends to be a good average for this position. You will need to keep your phone on you at all times if we hire you for this position so you are able to make it into work at a moment's notice.

You must be in very good physical condition as this job is labour intensive. We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, exceptional customer service skills, high attention to detail and a desire to physically work hard. This is by no means an easy position.
