Duties:
As a Deck Worker with OUBO you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of fence, deck, and sunroom construction projects, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch results. Your duties will include:
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and wood substitutes.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
Safely operate power and hand tools used in construction, such as Jackhammers, Drills, Circular saws, Sledgehammers, Nail guns.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and wood substitutes.
Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any issues or repairs needed.
Assist in lifting and handling materials safely and responsibly.
Assist in sunroom construction, including framing and window installation.
Collaborate with the team to plan and execute projects efficiently and within deadlines.
Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
Comply with safety regulations and company safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
Adapt to changing project requirements and support in various aspects of outdoor construction projects.
Benefits:
Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours of working in a week.)
Vacation pays as per Saskatchewan Standards. (Employees receive a minimum of three weeks of vacation after each year of employment. Employees who complete 10 years of work with the same employer
