JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Work on panel construction performing advanced woodworking determined by the Production Supervisor.
- DUTIES AND TASKS
- Read drawings and specifications and apply to their job.
- Full knowledge of materials.
- Work without supervision.
- Able to measure in both imperial and metric
- Build complex assemblies.
- Able to use woodworking tools such as routers, tablesaws and sanders
- REQUIREMENTS
- Education required: Secondary school with courses in woodworking/cabinetry
- Education preferred: Post-secondary diploma in carpentry/woodworking/cabinetry
- Experience required: Two years as a carpenter/woodworker
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES
- Must be fully conversant with woodworking techniques and skills.
- Must be able to work with in-house staff.
- Must be able to easily communicate with in-house staff, in English or French, so that work proceeds easily and is well done
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
