About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Planning and Performance, the Workforce System Support Analyst works as a business generalist and system specialist for People Services information systems (SAP, Success Factor, Kronos etc.) ensuring that operational system requirements are addressed.  This includes consulting and advising on all functional aspects of the information systems, providing options and solution recommendations, system design and development, and administering or coordinating system(s) processes. 
The System Support Analyst is the primary contact for designated information system(s) for the purpose of maintenance, design, development, testing, modification and data integrity for all clients (VP's, Directors, Managers, supervisors, Finance and People Services departments, and outside vendors). He/she also participates as a member of a cross-functional HR and Finance team to ensure clients are receiving quality service.
The System Support Analyst applies in-depth knowledge of the processes, policies and procedures to provide support and guidance, and resolve issues. The System Support Analyst identifies and helps management to plan for short and long-term information systems needs.  This includes educating clients on system functioning, promoting system changes and tools that add value and support the organization’s strategic initiatives, and working with clients to develop state of the art system(s).
Work location will be determined based on the successful applicant.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
-Graduate of post-secondary degree/program in Business Administration, Commerce or Information Technology 
-Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting the design, development and ongoing maintenance of business enterprise information systems (particularly Kronos and also SAP/Success Factors).
-Minimum of 5 years’ generalist experience in Human Resources or Finance, preferably within a health care unionized environment.
-Relevant certification in business enterprise information systems (particularly Kronos and also SAP/Success Factors) preferred.
-Relevant certification in the field of Human Resources preferred.
-Demonstrated knowledge of collective agreements, employment guides and relevant legislation (e.g. privacy legislation)
-Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Internet Explorer, Outlook and human resources information systems.
-Demonstrated planning, organizing, prioritizing and time management skills
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
-Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and ability to work independently 
-Demonstrated ability critical thinking, synthesize information, problem solve and utilize good judgment in decision making
-Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality; recognize sensitive issues and respond appropriately.
-Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
-Competencies in other languages an asset; French preferred

Hours
-Permanent Full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
-Travel to various sites may be required
-Location will be determined based on the Successful Candidate

Compensation and Incentives
$34.07 - $42.59 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
