Yard Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate to join our team. As an Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including heavy equipment operation, warehouse distribution, and order picking. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and possess strong mechanical knowledge. This is a full-time position that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate forklifts and clamp trucks.

Duties:

- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and clamp trucks

- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and fulfill orders

- Perform order picking and packing duties

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Assist with loading and unloading of materials

- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Requirements:

- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or related field preferred

- Proficient in operating heavy equipment including forklifts.

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks

- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Note: All positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00-$15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
