We are looking for a motivated individual with mechanical aptitude to join our professional team as a Yard Coordinator/ Labourer at our Kamloops, BC branch.

Please note, to be considered for this position applicants should currently be residing in Canada and legally entitled to work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash/clean equipment.
• Organize equipment in the yard.
• Maintain clean physical facilities.
• Help loading and unloading equipment.
• Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.
• Assist with small tool/equipment deliveries when needed.
• Always willing to offer a helping hand with your co-workers.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Comfortable with computers.
• Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Forklift license an asset.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
