Yard Worker / General Labourer

Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland based equipment company, is currently looking for motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Yard Worker / General Labourer - based out of our Head Office in Langley BC.

Rollins is privately held and been in business since 1946. We are a multi-industry, multi-line dealer selling equipment to Municipalities, Farms, Golf courses, and Private contractors in markets that include refuse, sewer & water, golf & sports turf and roadside maintenance. Rollins is continually looking to expand on our local footprint here in BC. We recently added the Kelowna branch to complement our existing locations in Langley, Chilliwack and Chemainus.

Job Description

Duties include (but not limited to) assembling product, inventory movement, inventory control, counting, labeling, physical labour, power washing, basic yard and shop cleanup and organization.Unloading of trucks with forklift and supporting mechanics shop as required. Possible room for future advancement with the right motivated individual. Candidate must have previous similar experience to be considered for the position.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

· High School graduate

· Must have a valid drivers license

· Mechanically inclined , special consideration to candidates with some mechanical background.

. Adept at working with both hands to assemble product

· Physically fit to perform the job duties associated with general yard work

· Yard or Warehouse experience an asset

· A forklift license is a definite asset but willing to train
