Saddle Lake Education Authority (SLEA) is seeking qualified teachers for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. There are several programs/schools included under the umbrella of SLEA. Two of which are Onchaminahos School (elementary) and Kihew Asiniy Education Centre (Jr./Sr. high school). SLEA schools are located on the Saddle Lake First Nation reserve, Treaty 6 territory. The vision is to provide quality education which will encompass healthy lifestyles, traditions, language, culture, and modern technology.Saddle Lake is about a 2-hour commute northeast of Edmonton, Alberta. Saddle Lake is located near various towns such as St. Paul, Two Hills, Ashmont, and Vilna. Unfortunately, SLEA doesn’t provide teacher housing, however there are rental properties located in the towns listed prior.
