Job description

Position Information:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Computer skills mandatory, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Medical Terminology mandatory
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with physicians, clients, visitors with high regard for public relations
  • Proven written communication skills
  • Surginet skills are an asset
  • Ability to do staffing with direction
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Satisfactory performance appraisal and attendance (internal candidates))
  • Knowledge and ability to apply CQI concepts
  • Commitment to future changes in unit philosophies and on-going
continuing education
  • Experience in ordering supplies and arranging equipment repairs
  • Self-motivated
  • Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
  • Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
