Job Summary
Within Personal and Commercial banking, Operational Resilience (OR) is one of the leading areas in RBC that is evolving how we help our clients thrive and communities prosper. The Operational Resilience (OR) team ensures that we have resiliency by design for Banking Operations People, Process and Technology. The Student Intern will help OR team by helping on priorities that ensure that Resiliency is a Day 0 activity, with Resiliency by Design principles embedded in requirements gathering and design. The role also helps OR team to ensure that applications are proactively managed and monitored and that existing infrastructure and system design are optimized to continuously enhance resiliency to minimize frequency and severity of outages.
Job Description
What will you do
• Work on data gathering and generating insights from data
• Contribute to defined projects or tasks under direct supervision.
• Document, and update information resources leveraged across the team.
• Support team members with employee engagement initiatives and events.
What do you need to succeed
• Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Word, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to grasp information quickly with a high attention to detail
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Willing to complete repetitive tasks
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new concepts
Nice-to-have
• Previous experience working with a financial institution or related experience
