Are you in a Construction, Project Management, Business Management, or Engineering program at a university or college? Would you like to assist with all aspects of planning, managing document reviews and submissions from project teams and other stakeholders? What you will be doing:

  • Providing assistance to Construction Management staff to support field activities;
  • Providing assistance to the staff within the assigned project team with composing, compiling, and issuing construction documents;
  • Gathering data through communications with Construction Management team and stakeholders;
  • Drafting and formatting reports related to Construction processes and other documents;
  • Following up with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts on queries;
  • Attending Construction Management team meetings and following up on actions captured;
  • Progress reporting on construction activities of assigned projects;
  • Tracking document & data progress through Review and Comment, organizing tabletops, and chasing queries as appropriate.
  • Ensuring complete record submission and tracking is adequately filed in company documentation systems.

What we are looking for:

  • Possesses a positive attitude and a strong ability to work effectively with a team;
  • Self-motivated individual with initiative and attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Personal commitment to safety and a questioning attitude;
  • Applicants must be Civil, Mechanical, Nuclear or Electrical engineering students;
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, Outlook) and Adobe to develop customized charts, reports, presentations and technical documents;
  • Oral and written communication skills are essential to communicate effectively at regular department meetings as well as with other staff members, levels of management and external contractors;
  • Ability to work with web-based applications;
  • Ability to use general office equipment such as printers, fax machines, photocopiers and scanners;
  • Knowledge of Autodesk applications such as BIM 360, Revit, and Vault is considered an asset.
  • Capability of working independently in an environment of rapidly changing and conflicting priorities using prioritization and planning skills to meet established deadlines;
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada in accordance with Canadian Immigration laws;
  • Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a security clearance and reliability check.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Teams and Skype platforms.


Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security”.
