RBC Wealth Management Asia is seeking energetic, bright, and talented individuals to join our Internship Program at our Hong Kong and Singapore offices. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our team. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience and exposure to the Wealth Management Business by working across three departments – COO Group, Investment Solutions & Products and Credit. Induction of RBC and formal orientation plus the program’s work-component will all be part of the rewarding experience.
Get ready to be paired with a buddy and assigned one of industries best and brightest Mentors. This structure is designed to provide you ample access to support and feedback, and to help you build a strong network with your peers in Wealth Management Asia.
Upon successful completion of the 3-month full time internship, there may be opportunities to continue with Wealth Management Asia on a full-time basis in a Graduate Program.
What are we looking for?
- Penultimate students who are driven and well-rounded individuals with strong quantitative skills and outstanding academic records
- Background in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment
- Approach problems analytically and propose solutions
- Strong attention to detail, be coachable and eager to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Banking knowledge around investment products are a plus
You should have proven analytical, technical and IT skills, a demonstrated interest in finance and a history of participation in extracurricular activities. Other essential qualities we look for include excellent interpersonal and communications skills, proven leadership capabilities, explorer’s mindset, and the ability to play a key role as a team member in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
