Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with claims, billing questions, policy changes, and payment options
- Quote new insurance policies in a timely manner
- Review policies for accuracy and contact clients to discuss their needs
- Review risks with underwriters from the different insurance carriers that we represent
- Educate clients on insurance coverages
- Develop a good rapport with clients and provide them with exceptional service
- Connect with current clients to regularly review their changes and coverages
Skills: - Professional communication with customers, co-workers, insurance carriers, and other contacts
- Experience managing insurance policies from multiple insurance carriers
- Computer literate
Requirements: - At least two years of personal lines insurance customer service preferred (applicants without experience will still be considered)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to resolve practical problems
- Strong ethical behavior
- Demonstrate respect and courtesy to everyone
- Computer literacy in Windows operating system, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Preferred License and Education: - Associate degree or equivalent
