What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you’ll work directly with clients to drive business and grow sales. You’ll work hand in hand (not literally, though) with your Project Specialist to ensure clear understanding and seamless delivery of impactful solutions. Also, you’ll be closely engaged with your Account Director to develop strategies, discuss challenges, and develop ways to grow your team’s overall book of business, improve margins, and ensure consistently high-quality work.
Essentially, you will…
- Develop a deep understanding of general marketing principles and current industry trends.
- Ensure you have in-depth knowledge of your client’s business and their industry segment as a whole.
- Play a key role in strategic planning efforts.
- Work in close collaboration with clients and your Account Director.
- Build trust throughout your team and foster an environment of accountability and support.
- Forecast activity and deliver against revenue goals.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or certificate in marketing, advertising, communications or business administration.
- 3–5 years of marketing experience in an agency or marketing department environment.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Customer service, digital marketing, and sales experience would all be considered assets.
